With unbridled excitement the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce invites you to a celebration of one of Lubbock’s best kept secrets—the Lubbock and west Texas areas grow over 80 percent of the grapes in all Texas wines, and we have a thriving wine and food-loving culture right here in the Hub City! Make plans to celebrate the culture of grape-growing and wine-making in the Lubbock area, while experiencing great wine, beer, food and music.

The first annual Lubbock Uncorked wine event will be open to the public 3:00-9:00pm on Friday, April 15th at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA), 511 Avenue K. Lubbock Uncorked will showcase wines made from high plains grapes while simultaneously offering those in attendance boutique beer, local food, and great music. Our music lineup is comprised of Charlie Stout, Landon Scoggins, Alissa Beyer, Joey Green, and Dolly Shine!

Wine education classes will also be offered to attendees. Say Cheese & Flowers: Discovering the Perfect Marriage of Texas Wine, Flowers and Cheese will be offered at 5:30pm. Sip & Savor: The Pairing of Texas Wines & Texas Shrimp. will be offered at 7:00pm.
